Founded 15 years ago by personnel from various dynamometers manufacturing companies worldwide who have the knowledge and creative thinking to produce the most versatile, effortless to use systems. Innovative ideas such as dual water valve control, inertia correlation of data, engine docking cart design, and proportional band control have greatly refined the information from the dynamometer which has transferred to better and more productive engines and components. DTS management staff individually has over 30 years experience in the engine dynamometer field.

All engineering, mechanical and electrical along with software design and code writing is done in house for complete system integration and superior customer support.

Because of its superior products and customer support DTS has experienced constant business growth over the past 15 years. In June of 2002 it moved its corporate headquarters and production to its brand new company owned 13,000 square foot facility in Shingle Springs California. The move was necessary to keep up with the demand of its products and to refine production to keep cost down thus providing competitive priced equipment.

DTS continues to refine its current product line and develop new innovative engine testing equipment. As an example the new DTS-1600 is a completely automated valve spring dynamometer and data acquisition system to further critique the design and performance of valve springs, a critical component in an engine performance and longevity.
