University of Northwestern Ohio Installs Two New DTS Powermark Engine Dynamometers

The University of Northwestern Ohio otherwise known as UNO has just completed a multimillion dollar brand new facility dedicated to performance education. This new two building endeavor rivals most NASCAR facilities.

In the new “Dynamometer” building there are two engine test cells each with state-of-the-art DTS Powermark dynamometer systems. The building also has four car bays, a lunch room, reception area, two chassis dynamometer test cells, a class room and a flow room with four flow benches.

The second building will house all the engine machinery, Chassis and body shop and everything else for producing a complete race car.

Paul Higgins the head of the UNO’s Performance curriculum is ecstatic about the new facility. “We purchased every current modern tools and machinery for this facility, we know when our student’s leave here they will get jobs at companies use this equipment”

Paul continued. “When we looked at replacing our worn out engine dynamometers, DTS was the only one that we felt had modern current technologies, all the other systems had not changed much in the last fifteen years they were just repackaged with a new paint job”.

“DTS supplies a system with all digital electronics bullet proof software and bullet proof mechanics. It is by for the most rugged system I have seen, and you know being a school these dyno’s will have a rough busy life”

“We could not be any happier with our decision and the support DTS supplies has been great since day one. I made a mistake in measurements when we were installing the units and needed two of the cords to be four feet longer. I called DTS and the next day longer cords were here at NO CHARGE!”

UNO is a very impressive facility. Any student graduating from there will have excellent knowledge and skills in what ever subject he or she chose to study.
